The Short Pencil
This
is a collection of poems about a pencil, pots and pans that speak, an
apple that is divided between two friends, a girl that grieves because
her dad comes home too late, a doll's hand that is wounded, people displaced
during the war, a child who paints his bad dreams, a boy who dreams
about a green icicle under the sea, a tree that looks pretty at daytime
and horrible at nights and a child that complains about too much homework.
