Migrating Bird
A
migrating bird stops on his way to rest on an oak tree. He discovers
a little bird caged and hanging on a lower branch, singing divinely.
The little bird has been jailed for many years in the cage. She asks
for bamboo twigs, fresh jungle seeds and fruits. Everyday the migrating
bird delays his journey to help the little bird. He builds a nest and
listens to her sad melodious notes. The songs give strength to both
to push the bars away and the little bird is freed. But it is too late
to resume the journey. They linger in the winter and fly to hot regeons
next summer.
