Celebration Night
|
Celebration Night Mahak loved her grandpa Bahram, the priest, who led the nocturnal ceremonies and kindled the sacred fire during New Year holidays. Bahram lived in a fire temple and recorded the story of their town. He appeared once in a year to kindle the sacred fire. One day before New Year the people had gathered wood and were waiting Bahram to bring his torch to kindle their fire. Mahak had climbed a tall walnut tree and was watching the ceremony. Suddenly she saw a big flame rising from the fire temple. The people ran to the temple. Mahak opened her way and entered the burning temple. She reached Bahram's chamber where he kept his records and threw them out of the room and saved the history of their town. |
