Lion-Hearted King Goat - A Play
The
herd is grazing in the field peacefully when a terrible howling wolf
frightens them. King Goat who protects the herd challenges the wolf.
They both harangue about their different merits. The wolf defeats King
Goat twice and each time carries a lamb away. King Goat asks Aunti Roro
to sharpen his horns and paws. Cheered and encouraged by the herd King
Goat challenges the wolf for the third time and defeats him. When he
pulls off the wolf's skin he discovers him to be a jackal and is hooted
out of the stage.
