Barefoot Bride
A
farmer and his wife live peacefully in their hut, but the woman is barren
and longs for a child. One day a cat gives birth to five kittens in
her hut. She cries a lot and in her dream an angel says her wish would
be fulfilled. She gets pregnant but her belly doesn't swell. The baby
is born but it is only a kitten! The angel tells the woman not to loose
her hope. One day the governor's son discovers a very beautiful girl
by the spring near the hut and falls in love with her. The cat tears
away her skin and the prince discovers her to be the fair girl with
azure eyes and he marries the dame.
