The Miller and the Mermaid
A
miller who thought that his future business was ruined, accepted the
offer of a mermaid to give her the first living thing born in his house
and instead, to get back all the comfort he had lost. However, when
his son was born, he regreted his promise and let it be forgotten. Many
years later, in an opportunity, the mermaid took the son. His young
wife with the help of a kind fairy got her husband back. Then, they
decided to start a new life together.
