A Girl Called Golbahar
Golbahar
was the servant of a greedy landlord. Shaahin was a young farmer who
had a farm near her master's farm and loved her. But the landlord was
greedy and wouldn't release her. Once he said she must plant pea seeds
and grow beans instead. Another time he asked Golbahar to thresh all
the popcorns in the warehouse within a night. The animals shifted the
place of pea seeds in the farm and the piegons threshed the popcorns
because they all loved Golbahar. She was freed and married to Shaahin.
