Wings to Fly Daedalus longed to escape from the Death Island in which he was imprisoned. He couldn't escape by the sea. The only passage was the sky. Daedalus was an artful and wise man. He gathered feathers and fastened them to each other by wax. He made two pairs of wings for himself and his son. He told his son he shouldn't fly too low or too high near the sky. But Icarus forgot his father's good advice and approached the sun. The wax melted and he dropped into the ocean... |
